Your home is one of, if not the biggest investment you will make in your lifetime. When making the decision to sell, sitting down with a Realtor to discuss a marketing strategy is so important.

There are two main goals when selling your home.

  1. To sell quickly
  2. Get the most money for your property

In this hot market on the west coast and in some of the interior BC cities, houses are going quickly and in many cases over list price, sight unseen. If a buyer is willing to pay over asking for a property sight unseen, or give up a home inspection what would they pay for a property that is move-in ready and all issues addressed?  Research has shown that buyers will pay more for a home that is move-in ready. Updated flooring, freshly painted neutral walls and organized storage are important for that potential buyer and they will immediately see the value. Buyers need to see the potential in a property and if done correctly it will pay off.

As a Certified Staging Professional I have been trained to look at your property with a buyers eye. In our initial Consultation, I will present to you recommendations to prepare your property for the Market. We will work within your budget with the two main goals always in focus to achieve this. We will always work with you in a professional and respectful manner.

Having your property ready for Market and knowing that all issues are addressed and no surprises gives you the edge on knowing that there is value and that buyers will pay more for this. Not only does this help you sell your property quickly and for more money the likelihood is that you or your client is purchasing another property and the knowledge they receive from this experience makes them a savvy buyer and that knowledge will pay off. Regardless of the market you, your Realtor should make Staging your property or your listing an integral part of the Marketing Strategy if not, it is like leaving money on the table.
